Step 1. Choose your pot and get ready

Setting up your pot correctly is essential for healthy plant growth.

To set up:

  • Choose the right size: Select a pot 2.5–5 cm (1–2 inches) larger than the plant’s current root ball. For tall plants, use a deeper pot; for spreading plants, opt for a wider one.

  • Remove the plug for drainage: Twist and remove the plug at the base of your Ecopots. This prevents water buildup, allowing excess water to flow freely and reducing the risk of root rot.

  • Prepare the pot: clean the pot thoroughly to remove any old soil or debris.
